When we asked about her passion, Sakshi, a 16-year-old girl who lives in Mumbai, strongly said ‘ I love boxing”, but, her idea of loving something and pursuing it as a career was different. She had her doubts. She wasn’t sure if she would be able to make money out of it. But, when we told her about the possible career opportunities in the field of boxing, we saw curiosity, hope and spark in her eyes. Sakshi’s father is a labourer and mother works as a cleaning staff in a company. All she wants is to support her parents and make them proud by doing something she loves.
